The critique of dogmatic reason is an attempt to deconstruct reason itself in an a priori manner, to determine the extent of the legitimacy of its value judgments; that is, to examine their purely theoretical basis. Therefore, for Kant, ethics turns into a kind of ethics that indicates the a priori manner in which ethics becomes possible in the self, or it is a kind of universal ethics based on the management and legislation of reason for itself. Likewise, aesthetics is the manner in which beauty becomes possible and represented in the self. Hence, the question according to the transcendental methodology is a question of legitimacy, or it is a question about the extent to which a topic of topics is established in a way that precedes the existence of the thing being researched in itself. Here, the question springs within the question; meaning the question about the foundation in itself, which soon transforms from the critique of dogmatic reason to the foundation of value reason (moral and aesthetic values).
