The author, relying on historical processes, tries to explain problems such as the Kurdish problem, the situation of the Alawites, armed violence, and social faults in the country.
Hamid Bozarslan is a well-known Turkish historian and sociologist, a member of the faculty of the Paris School of Social Science, and a researcher at the Center for Research on Islamic Societies in France. He has published more than ten works in the field of political history and sociology of Turkey and the Middle East, most of which have been translated into different languages.
