This book is a collection of the author's lectures on the mythology of Iran and the world. Greek myths are part of the most fascinating and influential myths of the world. This rich body of human imagination has inspired writers, playwrights, poets, painters, musicians, visual artists, and all kinds of new arts, including cinema since it was compiled 2500 years ago. In this book, the author has tried to take a step forward while introducing this collection and, with an analytical view, look at the genealogy of gods and goddesses and the philosophical, deterministic, and psychoanalytic foundations included behind them. Paying attention to the lesser-seen parts of Greek mythology and emphasizing the importance and role of goddesses in the long-standing conflict between matrilineal and patriarchal systems are other features of this book.
