This collection, in the form of a five-volume work, is designed in such a way that, while meeting the serious need for an educational text in Islamic philosophy, especially for students, it can also fill the gap caused by the lack of presentation of the foundations and principles of Islamic philosophy in a format appropriate to the philosophical questions of the contemporary audience. The first volume of this collection is dedicated to epistemology, and such a topic has never been presented in a focused and distinct manner from other topics in the tradition of Islamic philosophy. In the present book, based on an abstract model of the basic epistemological topics and questions, the views of Islamic philosophers regarding them are explained in an argumentative manner. This work is limited to documenting the topics by directly quoting phrases from the texts of Islamic philosophers, while this has not prevented innovation in its various topics.
