The subject of the present work is research on the Iranians living in Babylon during the period of the narrative rule of the Achaemenid dynasty. The author of the work is one of the experts in the field of Median and Achaemenid history, the subject of most of his research was the ancient Iranian empire and the social and cultural history of Babylon in the first millennium BC. In this work, the author has obtained a list of Iranians living in Babylon and other cities in the middle of the river, using Babylonian inscriptions. This book contains all the Babylonian evidence, bibliographic, classical sources, and opinions about those who had Iranian names and lived in Babylon, and it is important from this point of view. The contents of the work are compiled in three parts. The first part is dedicated to the introduction of the administrative system, judicial organization, taxes, military services, and cultural and religious tendencies and study. In the second part, Iranian names are mentioned and in the third part of the work, the inhabitants of the Iranian plateau and Central Asia in Babylon have been studied and investigated.
