The narrative of the book begins with the basic intelligence structure of the American Embassy during the Pahlavi period and describes the evolution of this complex structure during the Islamic Revolution. This same structure led to the interventionist activities of the American embassy against the Iranian revolution in 1358. Then, relying on the unseen documents, the capture event and its consequences until the release of the hostages are investigated.
This book can be considered the first "Iranian narrative" of the incident of the capture of the American embassy in Tehran.
