This book is fourteen articles about Rumi and Shams. The common denominator in the way of authoring, the articles are many references to the works of both of them. Today, referring to other people's views and opinions to explain Maulana's worldview or mysticism has become so common that the reader loses the original meaning and does not recognize Maulana of the 7th century among the multitude of incomprehensible references to the works of Western theorists of the 20th century. I think that trying to introduce Rumi's thoughts, literature, and art by quoting verses and phrases from his own works is the most reliable way to study Maulana.
Despite the publication of many books and articles related to Rumi in the last two decades, republishing these few average articles may seem redundant, but if one day a collection of research and studies related to Rumi will be provided in a special library, each book will have its place. will have and will eliminate the need for Rumi's research.
Also, the public publication of such writings and the feedback of readers and critics about them makes the author aware of his weaknesses and misunderstandings and forces him to revise his perceptions and affirmations.
I hope that the young reader of the book will refer to the direct works of Rumi and Shams after reading it and getting to know them to face to face.
