Asghar Izadi Jiran, university professor and author of this book, has shared the results of his field research with you and us. A collection of nine ethnographic field studies in Qara-Dagh nomadic communities of Azerbaijan and urban communities of Tabriz and Tehran. Various subjects from art to rituals, from tourism to singing, and from football to hospital have been integrated based on the theoretical approach of anthropology of senses. According to this approach, perceptions such as tasting, touching, seeing, moving, hearing, and smelling are not mere biological actions, but are social functions and transmit cultural meanings and values. "Feeling the Culture" is also an anthropological teaching and research method through the experiences of a young anthropologist.
