Interview with Shahla Lahiji by Siyyid Ibrahim Nabavi. She says: "We were left support- less from the very beginning. During the conference, they practically didn't want to have anything to do with us. The first day when the commotions and chaos started in the conference, I was speaking To Mrs. Kar- and I think Mrs. Kadivar was also present, I mean she was witness- and I told as a sign of protest against that disorder, we should just announce that we will not attending the next day... the worst part was the behavior of some of the participants. They weren't disposed to collaborate with us nor were they interested in reaching a common decision and to my utmost astonishment they separated their path from us from the beginning. I asked myself, what dialogue could we have? When we couldn't even dialogue with ourselves, how could we dialogue to the world?"
