This office studies the political assassinations of Iran in a ten-year period, from the assassinations of the First and Second Constituent Assembly to the operations of the Punishment Committee during the First World War. The preface of the book is also a discussion about the assassination of Naser al-Din Shah, which can be considered the beginning of political assassinations in modern history. When investigating political assassinations, the following questions arise: How did the political and social situation provide the basis for assassinations? Which people and organizations were involved in the assassinations and what goals did they pursue? Through which mechanisms was the news of such events spread in the society? How did different sections of society react to such operations? What were the consequences of the assassinations and were they able to change power relations? The current research tries to answer the above questions as much as possible based on the documents and publications and reports and writings at the same time as the events and some research works and provide the readers with a documented picture of the political assassinations in contemporary Iran.
