In that limited time, Durant gave him answers, and sometime later, he sent a letter to more than a hundred famous people and asked them for their opinion about the meaning of life, and published the received answers along with his perspective in this book. "On the Meaning of Life" is one of the most readable works of Will Durant, the author of the great book History of Civilization.
