Governments are one of the most influential institutions on the status of women. Therefore, studying the actions and approaches of post-revolutionary governments regarding women and how these approaches affect the unequal status of women is one of the main goals of this book. On the other hand, it can be said that governments, publications, and organizations that work specifically on the status of women are among the most effective institutions on the status of women. In the right situation, these institutions can act as an intermediary between unorganized women and power institutions and bring the demands of women to the ears of governments and influence the performance of governments as pressure groups or in the form of social movements. The present book has tried to analyze the way the governments work on women and also the demands raised by women's publications and non-governmental organizations in five time periods (Bahman 57-60 Mirhossein Mousavi, Hashemi Rafsanjani, Seyyed Mohammad Khatami and the first Ahmadi government Nejad to be studied until the year (2008).
