An Iranian novel. "Behzad" is a boy of 20 who has recently come to Iran, is interested in painting and lives with his grandmother "Mrs Najm" in Tehran. He becomes acquainted with "Nastaran", "Farzin", "Davood" and "Asiyeh"and... during a trip to the north, and their friendship continues for the next years. "Asiyeh" who is a fickle girl, falls in love with "Behzad" and incites him to escape. Mean while "Nastaran"who is chaste and kind, feels that loves "Behzad".
