Mirza Aqa Tabrizi is one of the most progressive writers of the constitutional time in Iran, the founder of playwriting in the Persian language and the writer of the main work "A pamphlet in morals". In the first section of the book there is some points about the history of play in Iran, the first Farsi plays and plays by Mirza Aqa Tabrizi. There are four plays by him: "Ashraf Khan, the Saudi Arabia governor", "Zaman Khan Burujirdi", "Shah Quli Mirza's traveling to Karbala" and "Aqa Hashim Khalkhali". The second section is about "The pamphlet in moral", which is a collection of stories and historical events that the writer has seen them and a one long act play (Hajji mentor the alchemist) and other short allegories in question and answer method.
