The first section deals with 20 samples of rock and gravestone inscriptions together with their transliterations (that is based on their written sign values and not their assumed pronunciations), Persian translations and finally the most important scholarly references to each inscription. In the second section samples of inscriptions on coins, seals, sealing also together with their transcriptions transliterations and Persian translations are presented.
