Sharifzadah är författare till två tidigare novellsamlingar. Dessutom har hon varit en flitig översättare av europeiska skönlitterära författare till persiska. Hon har även utgivit en antologi med tjugo noveller skrivna utav lika många kvinnliga författare i Iran. Denna hennes första roman är skriven i arton kapitel och i samma lediga och anspråkslösa språk som tidigare.
