Mofid University is proud to be one of the pioneers of education and research in the field of Islamic and human sciences, especially Islamic economics. The economic studies center of the university started its activity in 2004 with the aim of organizing and grounding Islamic economic research under the supervision of the research assistant. The emphasis and orders of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) in collecting and distributing income from zakat, khums, and tribute, as well as the instructions of Imam Ali (AS) to the governors on how to collect tax revenues and observe justice and fairness, relying on self-declaration and increasing trust between tax agents and Modian is one of them. In this regard, the Center for Economic Studies, following the above-mentioned objectives, in order to analyze tax issues from a religious perspective, organized a "Conference on the Jurisprudential and Economic Foundations of Islamic Taxes" in cooperation with the Tax Affairs Organization of the country in July 2017, the main purpose of which is to examine the appropriate solutions for the design of the tax system. It was based on religious teachings. The present collection is the collection of papers presented or printable for the conference.
