In a small apartment, two men known as "Black" and "White" begin a conversation that depicts each of their pasts and reveals the origins of two diametrically opposed worldviews. slow "Safid" is a university professor whose apparently easy and enviable life has drowned him in despair. Black, a former criminal and drug addict, has more hope for his friend—though he, too, is desperately trying to prove to his friend the power of faith.
