In this book, a dialogue takes place between a teacher and a philosopher. In every simple speech of a teacher, there are subtle layers, such that a philosopher can emerge from any layer and say something meaningful. The dialogues have passed through different paths and encompassed various aspects; for example, teaching and learning are inevitably philosophical, theory and practice are intertwined like threads, understanding the concepts of education and training requires conceptual modifications and adjustments; being global and being local are the two Janus faces of education and training.
This book consists of an introduction and six dialogues.
The first dialogue is Why Philosophy? / The second dialogue is Philosophy and Philosophers / The third dialogue is Theory and Practice / The fourth dialogue is Philosophy and Education / The fifth dialogue is Why and How to Analyze? / The sixth dialogue is Education and Training: Local or Global?
