Ferdinand von Schirach is a lawyer and author of criminal literature, born in 1964 in Munich. He started writing in the fourth decade of his life. What characterizes his writing style is, on the one hand, summary writing and on the other hand, specialized investigation of criminal and penal cases in his stories. His collection of short stories called Crime in the year 2009 made him famous. He completed his trilogy by presenting two more books, Sin in 2010 and Punishment in 2018.
