Fictional cinema and its different genres have a very strong relationship with oral, narrative and written literature. Between these two, we can mention another important factor as a medium, which has provided many of the favorite subjects of fictional cinema in the form of images, this medium is fictional painting with all its various ways. Literary works play a very important role in creating wonderful, fantastic and imaginative creatures. However, in order for these strange creatures to be popularly accepted and appear alive, they must be visible and illustrated. This task has been undertaken by painting - and its various methods, including engraving, mural painting, etc. - and a considerable number of painters throughout history have dedicated their works to it. In the cinema, many cinematographers have referred to these visual sources and depicted imaginary creatures and have used them in creating their works. Therefore, for the creation of imaginary creatures, three transitional stages can be counted: imaginary literature, imaginary painting and imaginary cinema.
