This book is a treatise on the conditions of refusal of social sciences in Islamic civilization. The term "refusal" in the combination of conditions of refusal, which, as will be seen, is used in a dispute over Michel Foucault's "conditions of possibility", included under a dispute of the type "refusal to think in religious culture" - which is the other side of the coin of ideology. "What he had..." is not that it was compiled especially in the forties and fifties and until today, its market prosperity has never decreased. The first "theory", "refusal to think", is an example of dying before you die, an invitation to collective suicide, and the second ideology, in continuation of the imaginations that are mixed with vulgar mysticism today, is a theory in our ethnic carelessness. The discussion in "Conditions of Refusal" is formulated outside the realm of simplifications of these two aspects of "Iranian ideology", in a more or less unknown land that does not allow the prejudices of pathological reading and laudatory optimism. Thus, the theory of "conditions of refusal", as it was said, although it was formulated with a view to the new epistemological debates in Europe, it is not an imitation of those theories but rather tries to analyze the materials of a region of the history of thought in the Islamic world. Put those theories to the test and, if possible, open a way to criticism.
