The book "The Hunt for Prince Dracula" is a novel written by Kerry Meniskelko, which was first published in 2017. Audrey Rose Wadsworth, still dealing with the aftermath of Jack the Killer but determined to continue her medical studies, travels to Romania to attend the most prestigious forensics school in Europe—in a castle that once was the house of "Vlad the torturer". He is also accompanied by Thomas Creswell, a former student of Audrey's uncle who has now become more than just a colleague. The two-person group prepares to perform autopsies and various medical tests, but when a traveler, a villager, and an academy student die in a short period of time, Audrey Rose and Thomas investigate. They start their relationship with the murderers. Each of these murders looks like a vampire attack, and locals are convinced that "Vlad the Torturer" is back. But "Audrey" has decided to prove that the killer is not a vampire.
