Katie Dale dreamed of growing up to be a farmer's wife, but instead became a writer and actress. Inspired by her mother, Elizabeth Dale, who is also a children's author, Katie's first poem, The Fate of the School Hamster, was published when she was just eight years old! After traveling the world, winning writing competitions and acting on stage and screen, Kathy continued to publish YA books for young readers. Momenzia is her first novel for Macmillan Children's Books. He studied English literature at the University of Sheffield.
