In a world where the wind has magically disappeared, young Captain Pff discovers a kite in the attic. He names it the Red Dragon. Like all children, he decides to fly it in the air, but the lack of wind condemns it to the ground. One evening, he realizes that the red dragon has disappeared. As is often the case, he accompanies his father on a fishing trip where sailors must row for long hours to find schools of fish. When suddenly, his father pulls the kite from a hiding place and throws it into the sea. Without a second thought, Captain Pff dives in to retrieve it. Then, the sea rages, the elements awaken, and the frail rowboat must fight not to sink. Thanks to Captain Pff's courage and perspicacity, the men return safe and sound from this long journey. The curse has vanished thanks to Captain Pff's determination.
