The articles included in this book include various sociological and historical writings that were written in English between 1994 and 2018 and were published in academic journals and more general press in America and Europe. At the same time, many of the articles in this collection are historical-social essays that clarify some aspects of the social history of our country. The common ground of these articles is thinking about the close relationship between social theory and social-regional realities. The first article of this collection of geographical regions and social theories discusses this issue specifically and in detail, in other words, the emphasis is on this simple but important point. It is important that social concepts and theories have their own historical context, and if they are used or imposed outside of the social historical context, they can have harmful results in the explanation of complex social issues, hence the analytical concepts that are often referred to as general concepts or are known as universal (concepts that are usually rooted in the historical context of Western societies), should not be taken for granted. These concepts should be treated cautiously so that if there is a need to revise, repair or replace them, take steps in those directions.
