Realism is a work written by Hans, Ola, and Anna Rosling, which was first published in 2018. In this book, global health professor and TED talk phenomenon Hans Rössling, along with his two regular collaborators, Anna and Ola, address ten factors that cause us to misunderstand the true state of the world: from our tendency to polarize the world. (Us and them) to our influence from the media and how we understand world affairs, which is often a pessimistic and hopeless view. Our main problem is not having enough correct information, and even our guesses and analyzes are formed through unconscious and predictable biases. The book of Realism shows that the world, with all its flaws and problems, is in a much better state than we imagine. This does not mean that there are no serious concerns. But when we spend all our time and energy worrying about everything instead of having a realistic and truth-oriented view of the world, we can't focus on the things that are the real danger and threat.
