Slavs are one of the largest linguistic populations that are today scattered in a wide area from Central Asia to Siberia and Central Europe, but today the centers of the gathering of these peoples can be considered mainly in Eastern Europe and the Balkan region. Slavic peoples are more than considered a group because of race or blood. Due to the cultural and linguistic commonalities, they form a group that, despite the obvious differences, has clear and strong commonalities. The book of Slavic myths and legends is an attempt to familiarize the readers with the cosmology and common concepts between the Slavic peoples; including Eastern, Western, Northern, and Southern Slavs, then familiarization with legends, heroes, and supernatural beings in their thoughts and beliefs, which are rooted in ancient beliefs, considering the nature of these myths, which lack regular and coherent sets of beliefs and beliefs, using original sources and ancient as well as new researches and the use of traditions in popular culture have been compiled in this work.
