Even though a lot of time has passed since the Islamic revolution in 1357, the reason and manner of the events leading to it have always been at the center of discussions of profitable political currents in the public space of the country. In the meantime, the main source of this conflict is the mass media; Because each of these currents tries to spread their narrative of those events with the help of communication tools and gain more legitimacy for their discourse and identity. Persian-language satellite channels, as part of the effective mass media in the country, make documentaries about the events of that historical period according to their interest and dependence on political currents. This book analyzes the discourse of three documentaries "From Tehran to Cairo", "The Fall of a Shah" and "The Revolution of 1957"; Documentaries that have dealt with the Islamic revolution in Iranian society more than other satellite network productions.
