Mohammad Mahdi Sayahzadeh was born in 1313 in Bandar Anzali. He completed his primary and secondary education in the same city. He studied psychology in Iran and America and lived and worked in Los Angeles. While studying in Iran, he benefited a lot from the presence of Professor Badiul Zaman Farozanfar and Dr. Abdul Hossein Zarin Koob, and from that moment he became fascinated by Rumi. In the last 20 years, he spent most of his time researching the works of Rumi, the result of which are the books "Channi Ghet Moulvi", "Pimaneh and Danah", "Farhang Khasht Mbani Masnavi", and the same book "Golbithai Shams". Other books are also under preparation, including a new correction of the spiritual Masnavi. For several years, with the efforts of a group of young Iranians living in Los Angeles, he has also established free sessions on the explanation and interpretation of the Masnavi and Ghazliat of Shams. Mehdi Sayahzadeh is currently the director of "Iran Research Institute" in Los Angeles.
