In this article, we examine Islamic beliefs related to war and peace in five chapters. In the first chapter, by examining the opinions of Shiite scholars about Islamic Jihad, we will examine the extent to which Islam's bellicosity claim matches with jurisprudential opinions. In the second chapter, we examine the Qur'anic documentation of the ruling of war and jihad against the infidels. In the third chapter, we pay attention to the history of the wars of the Prophet of Islam (PBUH) in terms of the reasons for their occurrence in order to examine the alleged belligerence of Islam in the tradition of the Prophet of Islam (PBUH). In the fourth chapter, we will refer to verses from the Qur'an that are explicitly or implicitly against the ruling of war with the infidels, and finally, in the fifth chapter, we discuss the possibility of implementing the ruling of Jihad with the infidels in contemporary times.
