Lieutenant General Amanullah Jahanbani (1274-1353) was one of the officials during the Pahlavi dynasty. He was one of the commanders of the Imperial Army of Iran and also a representative of the Senate for 5 terms during the reign of Mohammad Reza Shah Pahlavi and for some time he was the head of the General Directorate of Industries and Mines.
After the formation of the unified army, Amanullah was chosen as the head of the military units of the army [4]. He was the commander of the expeditionary forces to Azerbaijan to ward off the danger of Ismail Agha, who won the victory in the battle of Shukriazi and captured the Chihriq Castle by the government forces and received Zulfikar's badge.
In Khordad 1302, he was the supervisor of 50 students who were sent to Europe to study army, and he went through the general course there. In early 1305, he traveled to Khorasan on the death of Reza Shah, and after the removal of his rank and the dismissal of Jan Mohammad Khan, he became the commander of the Eastern Army.
In 1306, he went to Baluchistan while maintaining his position, and in several skirmishes, he provided security to that area and was given the rank of Amir Lashkari. He was in charge of the army inspection department for a long time.
