In his book titled "Iran's Economy; Stagnation and the Fall of the National Currency," Dr. Dini Torkmani has tried to adopt an interdisciplinary approach based on a combination of the study horizons of "critical development economics" and "radical political economy," and on this basis, he presents a new and different framework from the usual one for analyzing and examining concepts such as stagflation and the fall of the national currency of Iran. With the help of these theoretical foundations and based on the methodological approach of "critical realism," the book focuses its efforts on explaining and seriously criticizing the "quantity theory of money" and tries to challenge it and provide a new basis for it. This book, which includes the author's lectures and articles in executive institutions and economic journals of the country, has been published in ten chapters.
