The Kingdom of the Medes, the first and largest book of Aliyev's Confessions, and the History of the Medes by Ivan Mikhailovich Diakonov are still considered the most comprehensive and authoritative reference sources for the history of the Medes in the world. I am not going to explain its features here, because Vasiliy Vasilievich Struve, the famous Soviet orientalist and the scientific editor of the Median Kingdom, has handled this task well. Since the writing of these two works until 2007, no significant scientific works in this field have been published abroad or inside the country.
