On the Little Girls' Side is an analysis, based on numerous observations of the life of the child depending on whether he is a boy or a girl, the study of the foundations of an education that is transmitted identically, almost unconsciously, automatically. The author shows how the latter is the result of a whole series of conditionings passing through games, toys, children's literature and criticizes the teaching methods, the almost total lack of preparation of teachers, the always distorted relationships of the latter with children. The work is a huge success in France (as previously in Italy), it has been printed in 250,000 copies.
