The tenth story is "It was smile on their lips", the narrator is a young girl named "Fatimih", went to her aunt's house to teach mathematics to her granddaughter "Mihri". During teaching, television shows pictures about military activities of Iran - Iraq war in Karun River in Abadan. After showing these pictures Fatimih's aunt remember her son, Mihri's father who was killed in this military activity.

Hon är en 50-talist som börjat skriva vid 40-års åldern men som snabbt fått uppmärksamhet. Novellerna har alla en feministisk underton och författarinnan skriven med en sällsynt bestämdhet och övertygelse som inte kan annat än att engagera en. Nyckelordet i romanerna kan sägas vara relationer, både lyckade ock misslyckade sådana.
