Knowledge of the Holy Book, its history, foundations and methods of interpretation has become very important in the scientific and religious society of Iran for some time, because on the one hand, it is directly related to the Holy Qur'an and its interpretation, and on the other hand, the interaction and dialogue of religions requires Muslims to be familiar with the texts of the two great divine religions, namely Judaism and Christianity. In this regard, the precious book "Ilm al-Tafsir" by the contemporary Egyptian priest, Fahim Aziz, has a great place for the comprehensive introduction of the history, schools and interpretation methods of the Holy Bible from the beginning of its creation to the present day and is considered among the first-hand sources. The author, who believes in verbal revelation, believes that the correct understanding of the Bible is possible only in the shadow of faith in Christ. According to this point of view, the revelation presents general principles in solving the historical conflicts and mistakes of the Bible, and then it witnesses some divine aspects of the Bible (Old and New Testaments) that can only be seen with the eyes of faith.
