Yūrik Karīm Masīḥī

Yurik Karim Masihi was born in 1964 (1343 in the Iranian calendar). His interest in art began during his teenage years, a period in which he faced deep and endless questions, and he found art to be a suitable path to find peace.

In 2017 (1396 in the Iranian calendar), Yurik Karim Masihi held his first solo photography exhibition. Among his photography books are Look at Me, Imagine Me!, Photography and Seeing Photos, The Night Dawns Again, the introduction to Behind the Scenes of Iranian Cinema, and First-Person Singular.

His fictional works include Ground Floor, Deep Breath, and One Hundred Fields. In March 2015 (Esfand 1393), Yurik Karim Masihi received his Level Two certificate (equivalent to a Master’s degree) from the Supreme Council of the Cultural Revolution.
