The book of literary criticism with a cognitive approach (1) written by "Lila Sadeghi" was published by "Logos" publishing house. This book is important in the sense that it is a book authored in Iran in the field of literary criticism. Most of the books on the shelves of bookstores are devoted to translated theoretical books. But here, the "Logos" publication has presented a book written by an author inside Iran, which itself can remind important points. Leila Sadeghi's approach in her theoretical criticism is a cognitive approach, and it is necessary to examine this type of approach in literary criticism. By bridging with different sciences, the cognitive approach has been able to examine a work by relying on its text, author, and audience and open a gate to look at literary texts, because based on this approach, criticism of its own structure from the human existential structure, understanding Things in the world as well as how the world is experienced through his body, brain, cells and nerve fibers. In this approach, a bridge is built between the text, the reader, and the writer through the examination of the brain and theories of reading, in such a way that reading is considered as a cognitive function that connects the brain and literature.
